10 Healthy Recipes for 2014
Today, I face a harsh reality: despite my best efforts, I cannot live on cookies and cheese dip alone.
In honor of starting 2014 on a healthy note, I’ve compiled a list of 10 of my favorite healthy recipes here on The Law Student’s Wife. This list is by no means exhaustive—nearly all of my recipes include a healthy twist of some kind, whether I’m slipping in the vegetables (ahem, Zucchini Waffles), finding sneaky substitutions for heavy cream (reference: Goat Cheese and Roasted Red Pepper Tart), or incorporating whole wheat flour into my baked treats (to name a few: Sweet Potato Cookies; Sprinkles Strawberry Cake; Apple Honey Challah.)
Rather, this list is a small sample size of the healthy recipes you can find here on The Law Student’s Wife. I focused mainly on dinner ideas, but you will also find a few sweet treats to keep you fueled all year long. For more ideas, check out the Healthy section of my recipe index, which includes both Lightened Up Dishes and Lightened Up Desserts.
I firmly believe that we needn’t sacrifice our taste buds to eat a healthy meal. Life is just too short to eat yucky food. Every one of these recipes is healthy, yummy, and a favorite of Ben and mine. Enjoy!

(Since Ben considers tofu “chick food,” I also make this recipe with chicken. Both versions are great!)
And to end, something sweet…
