While the biggest Thanksgiving family feuds typically arise over the white meat, thanks to Leftover Cranberry Sauce Parfaits, I expect the cranberry sauce to spur haggling too.

Last week, I (hopefully) persuaded you to make your own cranberry sauce, via this easy Cranberry Orange Sauce recipe.

Now, let’s chat about what to do with any leftover cranberry sauce.

  • Smearing it on a turkey sandwich is an excellent, standard choice.
  • Using it to top these Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizer Bites is a smart allocation of precious leftovers as well.
  • But my favorite way to enjoy this jeweled, vibrant sauce is for breakfast—parfait-style.

Making these easy leftover cranberry sauce parfaits is simple.

Simply layer yogurt, leftover cranberry sauce, golden honey, and your granola of choice (I recommend this Gingerbread Granola), and voilà! An insanely delicious, quick breakfast or snack for any time of the day.

How to Make Leftover Cranberry Sauce Parfaits

These leftover cranberry sauce parfaits are creamy, lightly tart, and after several days of heavy cooking and big-time eating, it’s refreshing to have a simple, healthy breakfast on hand.

The Ingredients

  • Cranberry Sauce. A few scoops of perfectly tart, yet slightly sweet Cranberry Orange Sauce is my go-to for these easy parfaits.
  • Greek Yogurt. I love how cranberry sauce pairs with plain Greek yogurt because I think it lets the brightness of the cranberries and sweetness of the honey shine. Plus, its texture is totally creamy dreamy.

Substitution Tip

If you are sensitive to tart flavors, you can use vanilla Greek yogurt instead.

  • Honey. A little drizzle of honey counters the tartness of the cranberry sauce and tang of the Greek yogurt.
  • Granola No parfait would be complete without a little crunch.

The Best Granola for Parfaits

If you haven’t noticed I have a bit of an obsession with homemade granola. Try one of these Well Plated favorites on these cranberry sauce parfaits.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Do You Make a Vegan Cranberry Sauce Parfait?

To make a vegan version of this parfait, opt for your favorite non-dairy yogurt, swap the honey for maple syrup, and choose a vegan granola (one made without honey). You’ll also want to confirm your cranberry sauce is vegan. Note that the recipe linked in this post is not a vegan cranberry sauce.

Can I Use Regular Yogurt Instead of Greek Yogurt?

Absolutely. I love the rich, creamy, thick consistency of Greek yogurt and its extra protein content. However, if there is a different variety of yogurt you enjoy, feel free to experiment and swap for it.

Does this Recipe Only Work with Leftover Cranberry Sauce?

No. By all means, make a fresh batch (or, dare I say, open a fresh can) of cranberry sauce if you’re especially jonesing for a cranberry sauce parfait. This recipe can be made and enjoyed at any time.
