Worth devouring directly with a spoon! This frosting super light, contains NO fat, and comes together in minutes. It’s an excellent alternative for those who like whipped frosting vs. heavy buttercream or are looking for a low-cal frosting option that actually taste good.

This recipe offers endless possibilities. You can use any flavor of instant pudding. Spread cakes, cookies, or bars with a thick layer or pipe it in your design of choice. I’ve piped lovely white chocolate fluffy frosting swirls onto a raspberry cheesecake and plan to top brownies with peppermint fluffy frosting at Christmas.

Light Fluffy Frosting

This frosting recipe is super light, contains NO fat, and comes together in minutes. Light and fluffy. Uses dream whip and instant pudding.


  • 1 packet instant whipped topping — (Dream Whip)
  • 1 package sugar-free instant pudding mix — n your flavor of choice (4 serving size—the “small” box
  • 1 1/2 cups non-fat milk


  1. In a deep mixing bowl (glass or metal works best), whisk together the instant whipped topping and instant pudding mix. Add milk and beat on low speed until blended.
  2. Increase mix speed to high and beat for 4 to 6 minutes, until stiff peaks form.
  3. Frost cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes, or just go to town with a spoon!
