Happy Thanksgiving weekend! I’m interrupting what I hope is the slice of leftover pumpkin pie you are enjoying for breakfast (totally reasonable) to share a few of my favorite finds from the month of November.

Get Grandma out of the bushes and pour her a scotch: 26 More Rules of Thanksgiving Flag Football via The Wall Street Journal. I’m a few days late with this one, but it’s still worth reading.
In case you haven’t seen this yet: Lasting Relationships Come Down to Two Basic Traits via Business Insider.
If you have any remaining Thanksgiving leftovers, make this sandwich. Love to the moist maker!
I can’t even handle these. Why didn’t we make an extra pan of stuffing?
Sixteen Things Calvin and Hobbes Said Better Than Anyone Else via Book Riot.
The Zoo Economy via NPR’s Planet Money. I admittedly have a mini zoo obsession (at one point, I wanted to be a zoologist), but regardless of your attitude towards zoos, this podcast is fascinating.
Alaska Knits wool socks, also available at Target. Not bulky, but so toasty!
Ten Ways Introverts Interact Differently with the World via Huffington Post. Although I’m an extrovert, I thought this was an interesting, valuable read. It also helped me better understand and appreciate qualities of the introverts in my life (such as the one I married).
Let cookie season commence, starting with these.
Happy November everyone! Any favorites of your own? Leave them in the comments section if you please—I’d love to see them.
Just discovered the podcast, “Serial” by the creators of “This American Life.” Husband and listened to over four hours worth on our drive home from out of town yesterday. Really compelling stuff, antsy to catch up on the remaining episodes before a new one airs Thursday. Highly recommend checking it out!
You can ‘hear’ the silence of the snowy woods – how lovely!
