1. You really have hit the nail on the head with this one. Finally a fried rice that actually tastes like a Chinese takeout! I swapped the carrots for sugarsnap peas and I didn’t have oyster sauce so used hosin and a little rice wine vinegar. *Chefs kiss* Thank you!5 stars

  • Easy and fast meal. Just two of us, so lunch for a few days. Liked the brown rice and lots of veggies. Will definitely make again.5 stars

      1. Great pork fried rice I adjusted the recipe six cups. My grand kids loved it. My family ate every bite of it. Their comments were Delicious!5 stars

  • Great recipe. Only thing I added at the end was a tablespoon or two of rice vinegar. Perfect..and much better than my own recipe I’ve been making for 20+ years. Thanks!5 stars

  • This was amazing! I made exactly as listed and it came out absolutely perfect. My husband literally licked the bowl and asked when I would be making again, lol.5 stars

  • By far, the very best fried rice we’ve ever had….restaurant or homemade. A major addition to rotation. Packed with flavor. The only change we made was to cut the pea/carrot blend in half. We’ve also done beef, chicken and shrimp instead of pork. All with equal deliciousness.5 stars

  • This was reaaaally good. I was just trying to find a recipe to use up pork chops, but this is 100% going on our meal rotation. I omitted the oyster sauce because I could not find one without caramel color. Still turned out great!5 stars

  • In all fairness I didn’t use the exact ingredients listed. My pork was already cooked but I still marinated and sauteed it. I used Jasmine rice and it was sticky for some reason. That’s probably what ruined it for me as the whole recipe turned out kind of wet and sticky. Everything else I followed correctly and it just didn’t have enough seasoning for me. I made some hoisin sauce and added to each serving before eating. That helped enough to salvage it. I put the leftover in the freezer and it definitely won’t go to waste. I’ve made fried rice successfully many times using Jasmine rice so I’m not sure what went wrong. Considering the ingredients in the recipe it should have been awesome and it appears that it was for most people :)

    1. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy it, Donna. I would recommended making the recipe as written to get the fullness of the flavor.

  • Absolutely delicious I had some mushrooms, so added mushrooms to the dish will be a favorite recipe in my file thank you.5 stars

  • Delicious and verastile in terms of the veggies you use.
The simple sauce is so yummy and needs no adjustment.
    Thanks!5 stars

  • So. Darned. Good! A meal in itself, but served with Air Fryer chicken wings for an effortless addition.5 stars

  • Great tasting fried rice and simple to make. The individual cooking of both the veg and the meat ensures the dish stays fresh and not mashed.
Family favourite for mid week leftover lovely5 stars

  • I didn’t make this. I really wanted to but with all the democratic ads I was unable to actually see the instructions and ingredients. So sad. I have ordered take out and I researching her claims. It’s not good!

    1. I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience the ads caused you, Lyn. I will certainly keep paying close attention to the number of ads and how they load, as I never want them to hinder your ability to view the recipe or the blog post. When it comes to any specific ad, that is not something we control on our end. That is specific to the reader/users, meaning what I might see, might not be what you see and visa versa, because it’s tailored to the reader not to the website. Also, there is a quick and convenient “jump to recipe” button that will help you get to the recipe faster and a print button to have the recipe quickly at your fingertips. Hope this helps!

  • Absolutely delicious! My husband and daughter both had seconds. Better than take out, all the way around. Adding to our dinner rotations 😋5 stars
