Every year, we crunch the numbers to figure out which 11—among the 155+ NEW recipes and ones from the archives we spruced up with new photos this year—were the most popular based on website traffic.

So, what were you loving in 2022?

  • This year, chicken was king. From crispy chicken thighs in the air fryer to flavor-packed, healthy chicken Parmesan, you loved discovering new ways to prepare this easy, crowd-pleasing protein.
  • Drink recipes also had their moment in the spotlight. From party-ready mulled wine to nourishing turmeric milk, we enjoyed the simple pleasures of a warm and comforting drink together.
  • In addition to the chicken and drink recipes, other easy, meal-prep-friendly recipes ranked at the top this year.

Whether you were cozying up with a bowl of potato soup, slathering homemade barbecue sauce on Air Fryer Pork Chops, or channeling your favorite takeout dish with pork fried rice, it’s clear that healthy, flavorful meals continue to earn a place in your kitchens.

Seeing you make my recipes brought me endless joy this year. From winter baking to summer grilling to holiday spreads, it was an honor to see Well Plated recipes in your homes.

  1. I have your cookbook and quite honestly I can’t pinpoint one over another! I haven’t had one bad recipe from your book. When I’m clueless as to what do for dinner I look though the book in the morning then pick up what I don’t have on the way home from work. The recipes are simple enough that I don’t feel it’s a chore to cook!! Keep up the great work !!
