Wow I have to try these ….I’m not a big football fan but I do live “as the crow flys” 1 mile from the notre dame stadium I can hear the band, announcers and roars from my patio Erin Clarke
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for having a “jump to recipe” button!
Especially on mobile, I am so sick of every recipe blog post being roughly half a Harry Potter book worth of personal reflections before I can even tell if I have the right ingredients on hand!

Excellent idea to serve for breakfast with an egg, Anna. Yum! I’m so glad to hear this recipe is a favorite! Thanks so much for leaving this lovely review!
Made this for our Super Bowl viewing last night, & these delectable little numbers stole the show! They deliver on flavor & fun while still being fresh & light. Delicious & quite the crowd pleaser. THANKS!
Hi Stefanie! Have you ever tried a dairy free cheese like Daiya? It’s actually quite good! Otherwise, these will still be yummy without the cheese. I hope you love them!
Did a test run this weekend with this recipe in preparation for a Labor Day party.
YUM!!
My husband told me to forget making dinner. He would just finish the appetizers!!
Why Hello, Erin! I am also married to a Ben, who loves his football plus all the fun things I make for him to eat during the game, lol! These look delicious, I am certainly going to add them to the menu this weekend! We have been all things sweet potatoes lately!
I’m so excited to make these for super bowl this Sunday! I’ll let you know how they turn out and give you a shout out on my post when I blog about my Super Bowl Foodie recipes.

One of my favorites now. In addition to appetizer, it can double down as a weekend breakfast, served with a sunny side egg.

Hi Kirstin, I’m so happy to hear that they were enjoyed! Thank YOU for reporting back!
So, I always hate it when people do this, but do you think this would still be good minus the cheese? 3 people in my family can’t eat dairy. Thanks!

Wish we had these sweet potatoe treats at our football party this year love your light recipes
Thank you so much! And P.S., these bites are equally delicious on a random weekend too. ;)
Is kosher salt just an expression for thick ground salt, or what is the significance of the salt being kosher in a recipe?
Hi Dash, kosher salt doesn’t have iodide added to it like table salt does, and iodide can add a metallic taste, so I prefer the flavor of kosher!

Do these have to be served warm? Or can the sweet potatoes be made and hour ahead of time, have to serve appetizers somewhere…
Hi Deb, these can be served warm or at room temp! I hope you enjoy.
