• Super yummy! I did this recipe with honey crisp apples they turned out great! If you don’t have a mandolin slicer I recommend cutting the apple in half so you have a flat surface to stabilize while you cut! Definitely will be making these again and again!5 stars

  • Bake apples in the microwave all the time. I’m going to try your Apple chips but I use apple pie spice in my baked apples and I think you apple chips will be great with apple pie spice too.

  • First recipe from your page and everything is crisp as it should be.

Love it when recipes works perfectly the 1st time, that’s how I know a honest recipe. I made 3 batches and now I have a sore neck. Anyone reading this plz don’t do 3 batch without a helping hand!! ; )5 stars

  • I tried the recipe and loved how easy it was. BUT unfortunately the sliced would never get crisp!  I baked for a total of 3 hours!  Please advise. Thanks

    1. Hi Maria, I’m sorry to hear that these didn’t turn out as crisp as you wanted. Were your slices 1/8-inch thick or less? The crispness can also differ based on the type of apple you used. I hope you were still able to enjoy them!

  • Thank you. I was just diagnosed as prediabetic and I am trying to eliminate added sugar. This is the kind of snack I need, although in moderation.

  • I’ve made these multiple times, the last time rather than just cinnamon are used a homemade apple pie spice. Both are amazing. Thank you5 stars

    1. Hi Ela! You’ll cook them in the oven on baking sheets at 200 degrees for a total of about 2 to 2.5 hours. I hope this helps and that you enjoy the recipe if you try it!

  • Worked great. Used a spiralizer attachment on my stand mixer to slice the apples. Used pie spice instead of cinnamon and just sprinkled it by eye, no measuring. I turned the slices at the one hour mark. Only thing: it took about 4 hours to make the crisps and about 4 minutes to devour every single one! Making more now. :)5 stars

  • These were absolutely wonderful. Turned out perfect the first time. I can’t believe how easy the recipe is. You must try this.5 stars

  • Oh my gosh! When I saw this recipe I just had to try it. They were so delicious and were gobbled up by my family in seconds. I turned around and made another batch right away. Thank you for a great tasting and easy recipe.5 stars

  • These were great! Very crisp and yummy! I used my mandolin to slice very thin. My gluten free daughter loved a crisp naturally gluten free item! Thank you!5 stars

  • Love these apple chips my and my teen are trying to be healthier and we love these and she dose not really like fruits or vegetables5 stars

  • Question- Erin, can these be frozen? Thinking if I’m the only person eating them, I wouldn’t want to eat the whole batch in a week. Would be great if I could just pull some out of the freezer when I want a quick snack.

    1. Hi Joan! I’ve never tried to freeze these before, so I wouldn’t be able to say. If you decide to experiment, let me know how it goes!

  • This instructions is kind of confusing… “upper and lower thirds of the oven. Remove the baking sheets and switch the pans’ position on the upper and lower racks.” Upper and lower?? Which is it?

    1. Hi Kath, thank you for your question. It’s both. You are using both the upper and lower racks. Then switching the pans making sure to put them back in in the upper and lower racks when they get switched. Hope this helps!
