• I’m coming down from one serious epic eating weekend, so I’m definitely having summa these in my life! YUM.

  • Oh. I do no need an 8 pound box of cookies in the mail. Those would get eaten… immediately. Do not want! Or okay, I actually do. But I’m trying to lose weight. :D

Anyway, this smoothie looks great! I LOVE blueberry smoothies but the oatmeal thing is new to me. Sounds great!

    1. See, you think you need an 8-pound box…but I quickly realized a 4-pounder would have been MORE than sufficient, lol. Glad you like the look of the smoothie. This is my first time trying one with oatmeal and I am a BELIEVER. The taste is very subtle, it makes the smoothie nice and thick, and you’ll be FULL all morning. If you try it, please let me know your verdict!

  • This looks delicious! Maybe it will help me get over my cake hangover from the weekend…it was a pathetic display of stuffing my face with a ridiculous amount of cake.

    1. If this smoothie can cure my cookie overdose, I have no doubt it will work miracles for you Danae! And no shame on the cake stuffing…just have a smoothie after :-)

  • I love blueberry anything. :) And cheers to healthier eating! I love it when healthy food just tastes GOOD!

    1. Me too Sally! I’m nearly turning purple over here, we’ve been eating so many berries. A small price to pay I think :)

  • This looks awesome, Erin! So colorful and wholesome – I love it. Isn’t so bittersweet to be working with a company that sends cookies?! Sometimes I wanna just “return to sender” but instead I toss them over to my neighbors. :) Great recipe!

    1. Thanks Georgia! And you are far more generous with the cookies than I was…I bet you are everyone’s favorite neighbor!

  • Aw yay! Soon you’ll get to be ‘The Lawyer’s Wife’! Beautiful smoothie… full of delicious nutrition! And… re boxes of cookies. I think I’m in the wrong profession. All I get are flu shots and promotional drug company pens ;)

    1. T-minus 2.25 semesters to go Laura (not that I’m counting!). Maybe you can drop hints that you respond more to sweets? haha

  • Oh baby! this would definitely keep me full and happy :) love the blueberry flavor!! healthy eating is what i gotta do this week..fingers crossed i can with all these delicious recipes in my reader! haha

    1. lol Julie. I know what you mean by “reader” temptation. Just put a smoothie in one hand and a brownie in the other. Sounds like a balanced diet to me!

    1. Oatmeal is my new smoothie BFF Alaina! Glad you like the looks of this blueberry beauty :) If you try it, please let me know what you think!

    1. Thanks Natalie! I’ve become a big oatmeal-in-smoothie fan too. Just keeps me so much fuller, which is not always an easy task :)

  • I love making blueberry smoothies for breakfast! But, the addition of a box of cookies would definitely be an added bonus. Could you pass me one? K. Thanks.

    1. Please PLEASE come help a girl out over here Lauren, lol. I must say, I’m enjoying the law-internship perks so far, but if this cookie madness continues, I’m going to wear out my blender blade attempting to recover.

  • Sounds so good! I just recently got into making smoothies more. I haven’t played with spinach yet, but if you say you can’t taste it I’ll take your word for it and give it a shot soon. I love blueberries and oats in smoothies so I just have to add the spinach and almond milk (which I’ve never tried). Thanks!

    1. As long as you don’t go nuts-o with the spinach, you’ll never know it’s in there, especially if you blend with powerfully flavored fruits, such as blueberries or blackberries. Stealth super food to the max! Unsweetened vanilla almond milk and I have a serious love affair–it’s so creamy and the flavor is really nice with smoothies or on cereal. Hope you love it and thanks for your comment!

  • Love that you can’t see the green in the recipe. Its something I could sneak past my boyfriend without him noticing. I bet the oatmeal give the drink a nice creamy taste!

    1. The oatmeal totally makes it Reba! Completely creamy + tummy satisfaction. And you should totally make this for you BF and see if he can guess the “secret ingredient.” After he raves of course ;-)

  • I have been making almost this exact same smoothie ever day for the last week – I love it!! And if cookies arrived at my house – even with husband’s name – I’d totally be tearing that box to shreds to get to them .Cookies have no addressee.

    1. High-five, smoothie twin! And I agree: Cookies are a first-come-first-serve situation. All the more reason to gobble them while they are fresh :)

  • Healthy, beautiful drinks like this are my favorite! Slurping them down just makes everything feel so friggin good!

  • Hey there! This looks delicious and I’d love to try…just curious how much flaxseed you used, and whether or not it was ground! Thanks so much!

    1. Hi hi!
I used 1 tablespoon ground. I think you could go up to two if you’re feeling the extra protein surge calling. So glad you asked!

  • Love this smoothie! I wish someone would send me cookies in the mail..or maybe not :)

    1. The cookies in the mail are awesome at first, but I think I had a bit too much of a good thing! Glad you like the look of the smoothie. Thanks Jess!

  • This sounds delicious! I love blueberry any-and-everything and am soooo ready for berry season! :) And no chocolate before 10:00AM? It’s pretty close to Impossible for me.

    1. Glad you are with me that chocolate is so much more versatile than dessert ;-) Hope you enjoy this smoothie. I’m a sucker for blueberris too Valerie!
