• Oh my!!! Delicious! Easy! Left overs are fantastic! I made my own garam Masala for my pantry too. Thank you!! xxoo5 stars

  • This is really flavorful!  I was craving some Indian fare and this really  took care of it!  It was super simple to prep and cook.  Very fragrant,  delicious and the chicken was very tender.  I had naan as a side but will make some jasmine rice for the leftovers.  It’s just me so I’ll freeze for future meals.  5 stars

  • I made this last night, and my husband, and I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala immensely! I had boneless chicken thighs in the freezer, so after thawing, used them instead. We will enjoy this again and again! Thanks for another excellent recipe!5 stars

  • So delicious and very easy to make. There are no good Indian restaurants around us so this was a huge hit with everyone in our family!5 stars

  • So delicious! I am counting my calories and was excited to find this recipe with the light coconut milk and fat free greek yogurt. I ate over brown rice but then for left overs used cauliflower rice and it was an incredible taste for minimal calories.
Thank you so much for this fabulous recipe! Ann5 stars

  • Good recipe and flavors. But, for me, it needs more salt, so I will get salted tomato sauce next times, and it wasn’t slightly sweet like the ones in restaurants, thus I added a teaspoon of brown sugar as I saw on another site.

I will try this recipe again with the changes listed.

    Thank you for this.5 stars

  • I made your chicken tikka masala some time ago with a recipe for naan (your sisters?) I am working on butter chicken and know my husband will ask “where’s the naan?” But I am not seeing the same naan recipe. (With honey instead of sugar)
I am a huge fan of yours. Thanks for all your recipes.

    1. Thank you for sharing this kind review, Vicki! Unfortunately, I don’t have a homemade naan recipe on my site. I hope you enjoy the butter chicken recipe!

  • So easy to make and packed with flavor! We had a power outage and I was still able to cook this by throwing one pot onto our grill and using it like a stove top. It turned out so delicious. If you are looking for a quick and easy meal this is it! It was ready in less than an hour, plus clean up was easy since it all cooked in the same pot. I didn’t even have fresh ginger but the powder worked perfectly and still tasted amazing.5 stars

  • Really tasty! Worked perfectly, although I think about 2/3 or 3/4 of the sauce would be better balanced (but would throw out some tomato and coconut)

    Great recipe and site!5 stars

  • This is absolutely delish! So simple to make and the family gobbled it all up! I love all your recipes! I’m so happy I found your site!5 stars

  • This was quite good but I felt the chicken was on the bland side. I looked up some other recipes, which specified marinating the chicken first; I will try that next time, after I try your butter chicken , tofu tikka masala, and paneer tikka masala, that is! I love your recipes—delicious combination of flavor, satiety, and healthful ingredients!!!4 stars

  • My go to tikka masala recipe! SO GOOD. Love to serve it over cauliflower rice for a low carb option, and with extra broccoli instead of peas. But everything about the sauce and flavors is incredible, and wows my family every time that I made Indian food made from scratch!5 stars

    1. Hi Diane! While I haven’t tried it, you could possibly use heavy cream. It may change the flavor some and will definitely change the calorie count. If you decide to experiment, let me know how it goes!

  • Great flavors and simple to pull together with the Instant Pot. Served with brown rice, a perfect match. Looking forward to having it all week long!5 stars

  • This recipe is absolutely DELICIOUS! I’ve always been a little intimated to make my own chicken tikka masala, but it was really simple and tasty. My husband also loved! This will be a staple in our dinner rotation :) so glad I found this one! It’s a keeper!5 stars

  • Hello Erin. I am really looking forward to trying this recipe. I have a questions for you. In step 6 you say “Uncover and stir in the peas”. At which point are you covering the pot? Before you simmer? Thank you for your time!
