Sheet pan dinners have been popular for years and it’s easy to see why: they’re simple, mostly hands-off, and they give you a balanced meal all on a single pan!

Sheet pan dinners are the easy button for weeknight meals.

When I don’t feel like juggling multiple pots, or I want to make a single recipe for dinner without having to decide on a main dish and a side (or two), sheet pan dinners are where I land. Everything goes on one pan, into the oven, and comes out as a complete meal.

Easy. Peasy.

Let’s talk about what makes them such a win:

  • Everything Cooks at the Same Time. The protein and vegetables roast together, picking up flavor from each other as they cook.
  • Cleanup Is Minimal. Because some nights, fewer dishes makes ALL the difference.
  • They Make Vegetables Tastier to Eat. I’ll take veggies any way I can get ‘em, but for pickier palates, roasting on a sheet pan brings out natural sweetness and mellows any sharpness.
