Made with peak-of-summer peaches, these Peach Margaritas are infused with a homemade jalapeño simple syrup and finished with a splash of fizzy club soda.

Fizzy Peach Jalapeno Margaritas

These peach margaritas are flirty, fresh, and a little bit sassy.

My classic Skinny Margarita started it all and has lead to many a sipping spinoff.

At the height of summer, however, this spicy peach margaritas recipe is nearly impossible to beat.

  • The jalapeño kick blends beautifully with the sweet, juicy fruit.
  • It also gives the margaritas a rather addictive quality that my friends and I struggled to explain, despite pouring extra rounds for additional “research.”
  • The flavors of this drink nicely complement my Skinny Taco Salad ingredients making the two recipes a great pairing.

5 Star Review

“I love all of the flavors in this cocktail!”

Peach Jalapeno Margaritas-Fresh peach margaritas with a kick

Key Ingredients

You’ll find the full list of ingredients in the recipe card below, but here are some notes to keep in mind.

  • Peaches. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits for margaritas (and in life). Their sweetness balances the tartness of the lime perfectly. Peaches also shine in my White Sangria.
  • Jalapeños. Bold and spicy. Feel free to adjust the recipe accordingly to suit your taste preferences with regards to heat.
  • Sugar. Serves as the base for the simple syrup in this peach margarita recipe.
  • Silver Tequila. I love the clean flavor of silver tequila in fruit-based margaritas. You’ll also see it labeled “blanco” tequila.
  • Limes. Fresh lime juice always. It makes a difference—trust me. Don’t forget to cut a few wedges for garnish too.
  • Orange Liqueur. While Grand Marnier and Cointreau are pricey, they are well worth the investment when we’re talking about making a stellar cocktail. I prefer both to triple sec, which tastes more cloying and the orange flavor is more artificial. THAT SAID, if you have a standard triple sec hanging out in your liquor cabinet, it will also work for this recipe.
  • Club Soda. Gives this drink just the right amount of summertime fizz.
  • Salt. Intensifies the sweet and sour flavors the drink. For this recipe, I like to do a blend of both sugar and salt on the rim to balance the spice of the jalapeños.

Market Swap

While jalapeños are typically readily available in most places year-round, don’t be afraid to mix it up with other spicy peppers, like serrano, from your market or personal garden.

How to Make Peach Margaritas

Make the Spicy Syrup. Place the jalapeños, water, and sugar in saucepan and warm until the sugar dissolves.

Infuse It With Peachy Flavor. Pour the syrup right over the fresh peach slices, cool to room temperature, and strain.

Prep Your Glass. Next, rim a cocktail glass with a blend of salt and sugar. Then, fill with ice and a few jalapeño slices.

Make Your Margs. Combine the margarita ingredients and cooled syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Pour into the prepared glass, sip, and ENJOY!

  1. I haven’t tried this yet as peach season has not arrived, but I certainly will, so thank you.

I did want to mention something about simple syrup. I have been making plain and mint flavors for a few years and I always add 1 Tbsp vodka to the syrup as a preservative after it cools. From my experience with this method, I can keep syrup up to 1 year in the refrigerator (mason jar) and don’t have any problems with mold or anything else developing aside from occasional sugar crystals. Even without the vodka, syrups will certainly keep longer than a few days, something closer to a month at least, with all that sugar. So double the recipe and you’ll have enough for the summer, depending upon your margarita intake.5 stars
